If you don't believe what you're seeing
what humane people sense
then you are the problem.
You wonder why people are outraged?
Why are people so loud?
You are comfortable.Isn't that all that matters?
We know you feel outrage.
you feel it every time you go to Target
and they didn't have that bedspread you wanted.
We know you feel anxiety
everytime you get detoured through a neighborhood
populated by brown faces.
Well, try to imagine the daily, unending outrage and anxiety that so many suffer
because the face of the law runs lawless in their neighborhoods.
Because that lawlessness follows them when they leave their homes.
The news you see is misleading if you can't see all this bleeding.
People are Dead/Dying.
Stop it now.
They take everything they can from these communities
for profit and for pleasure
by selling you anecdotes and rules.
The lies that the White world sold you, have been exposed.
You bought The Welfare Queen.
You bought bootstraps.
You bought Urban Renewal.
You are the problem
and you can fix it.
The news you see is misleading if you can't see all this bleeding.
